We're planning something a little unusual for our Melbourne launch, and we wanted to let you in on it early.
Instead of just telling people our hats are made from natural fibre, we're going to let them feel it for themselves. Picture a tank of water in a high-traffic spot, filled with real natural fibre plants, next to two hats: a standard plastic-based cap, and a RAWA hat. Same shape, same size, completely different material story. Dunk them, wear them wet, feel the difference in your hands. That's the whole activation. No slideshow, no pitch, just the materials doing the talking.
We think this is the most honest way to introduce RAWA to Melbourne. Synthetic headwear feels the way it feels — a bit plasticky, a bit clammy once it's damp. Natural fibre feels different, and the only way to really understand that is to touch it.
Date and location for the activation are still being locked in, but it'll be central and it'll be soon. If you want to be there, join the Founding 100 waitlist and we'll make sure you're the first to know.
Behind every RAWA hat is a lot of testing, a lot of sourcing trips, and a genuine obsession with getting the fibre blend right. This activation is our way of showing that work, not just talking about it.
