RAWA started with a simple frustration: we couldn't find a hat that actually breathed. Between Kuala Lumpur's wet heat and Melbourne's four-seasons-in-a-day, most headwear on the market is built from polyester and acrylic — materials that trap heat, hold odour, and eventually end up in landfill for decades.
