Why We Exist
RAWA started with a hat. A cheap, plastic one — hot, sweaty, and gone in a season.
That's the problem with most headwear: it's plastic wearing a nice shape. Acrylic, polyester, synthetic everything — trapping heat, shedding microplastic, and sitting in landfill for centuries after you've stopped wearing it.
We wanted something different. Something that looked as good on the street as anything else out there, but was actually made from the earth — cotton, linen, wool, cork — and could go back to it when it's done. No plastic, no petroleum, from shell to trims. No exceptions.
RAWA exists because streetwear shouldn't cost the planet to look good. You shouldn't have to choose between style and what's touching your skin.
This isn't fast fashion, and it isn't priced like it. You're paying for what's actually in it.
